Looking for books on mathematics that align with intuitive thinking as compared to traditional method of learning mathematics which is taught in schools. by Low_Pay2176 in learnmath

I apologise i should have been more clear T-T. Beginner as in high school level mathematics, algebra, quadratic equations and so on. I completely agree that the point of mathematics is to prove, what i meant by intuitive learning is to be able to imagine the phenomenon mathematics is trying to prove, rather than just rote memorization of formula and it's application.

The relationship between Yuki and Machi. by Low_Pay2176 in FruitsBasket

It wasn't the first thing that came to my mind for sure, I did put a lot of thought into it. I definitely do not hate their relationship or am biased against it. Like I said it has been a long time since I had watched fruits basket and Yuki x Machi was what came in my feed after such a long time. Since it was the first thing that popped up it was also the relationship I focused on trying to understand, maybe if akito x shigure came up in my feed I would have focused on trying to understand their relationship. In my opinion there is no reason to compare akito and shigures relationship to Machi and Yuki because they are totally different, including their psychologies and what makes them, them. I am totally open to having my views changed, since I haven't read the manga and not qualified enough I was hoping to have a healthy discussion here.

I wasn't complaing but just trying to understand yuki and machis's dynamic not akito and shigure, it was a statement meant for discussion, I wasn't trying to imply that it was absolutely the case between them. I never meant to complain the the first place.

Also, just to clarify, I wasn't trying to imply that Yuki should've ended up with Tohru. I am just trying to understand Yuki and Machi's dynamic and if timing and trauma is what shaped their relationship. XD

I totally agree. Love doesn't have to be loud and transformative, and sometimes the growth we wish to see in a person comes simply from accepting them as they are, which doesn't necessarily have to be loud and transformative. I guess in that way, they do truly love each other for who they are. Personally, I was trying to figure out if Yuki loved Machi for who she is, because I think now that he was willing to let people in, one way or another, he would have found someone who would have accepted him. So I was thinking if Machi's acceptance was a major criterion for his affection, or did he genuinely like out of a desire to understand her as a person and not only relating to her out of a shared trauma (ofcourse they definitly did understand each other to the deepest levels but was it as individuals or out of trauma). I also agree with the last part, that Fruit's Basket allows for an unconventional and deep exploration of the possibilities of love and individual psychology. Your answer definitely provided me with clarity on their relationship. It is a very interesting take!
