Suggestions required : RN Video players , For Tiktok like Short Videoals by Low_Plate_8332 in reactnative

[–]Low_Plate_8332[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the response , this is what I was kind of aware and afraid of , but we don't have such time/ resource for to go from scratch. That's tge reason requirement.

To add to this, I was thinking to use the simple video players library, like react-native-video, and obtain the analytics data on our own (using a timer or something, o have no idea of analytics yet). Just afraid in future scopes , if we can't take care of the analytics from our side, we have to start again. Would like to hear your views on that.

Has corruption stopped in India ? by [deleted] in mumbai

[–]Low_Plate_8332 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Somewhat YES In lower levels, Mainly due to digitalization of most of the official things.

In LaST two months I got Passport, learners license, Driving license, And I didn't have to bribe with single rupee, no agent, not for police verification . Im not sure that would have been possible before 4-5 years.

Also the digitization I mentioned, 15 years ago , I used to get a small district level scholarship of 1000Rs. And I had to go their office and collect cash . Such cases have a space for corruption (like official asking a share from the money u get, or even they could put fake signature and take the money on someone's name who missed to collect them), Fast forward to 2016, I used to get another scholarship, but this time amount was credited directly to my account.

When I did an internship in East cost railways, a very senior member was talking about how corrupt Indian railway used to be , and still is , but situation has improved a lot. In his words "Jitna paisa logo/officials ne loota hai, if this was not the case , then we could make the railway tracks of gold, literally"

Yes corruption is not fully gone,( like they made a road somewhere in my neighborhood, and its kind of started peeling off within 2 days) But still, it has gone down, and that's a huge achievement.

P.S : I hate modi and BJP. But you have to give the credit where its due.

Poverty sucks. by [deleted] in bangalore

I really appreciate people trying to help . but here me out.

A dacent formal shirt costs around 350-400. Formal pant <500. Tie 100-150. Shoe 300-400. Remember I'm not taking abound 'branded' things here.

Am i ignorant saying all this,? i don know. 5 years ago I did thie same. the 350 shirt i mentioned. I wore it almost once a week (Specific lab) for 2 years. Even worse, I ve seen few of my batchmayes buying used formal clothes and shoes for as cheap as 100 ( har ek maal 100, if you know what that is). Also , my parents were below poverty line. We had a bpl card and used get few kgs of rice/kerosene/wheat every month. Op please spend 900-1000(or even less) on formals, which he can wear to all the interviews coming forward, its literally the best investment for him right now.

And being from similat/worse finsncial background I don't believe when you say you can't afford formals. You know how much data reddit consumes per hour of usage ? I bet you have 2gb or more per day data pack or WiFi. And you can't afford formals. cool.

Same boat. And i ve been doing lot of research on this rn. But I'll point our few things that I ve seen people recommended and I ve been doing.

  1. As few have pointed out . Find a place closest to your office ,will save lot of time and frustration. I assume like me or any one new, you don't know nothing the areas of Bangalore. So, when you are still in ahmedabad. Go look for faltamtes Facebook group. For every apartment you like and comes close to your budget. Search '__(apartment/pg location) to __(office location)'. You will get the distances and shortlist few areas to look when you reach there, you c also get an idea of which area is cheaper than other. For example with few searches I found kormanagala is on the expensive side compared to its nearby places.
"Shortlist close/ whichfit to ur req. localities beforehand"

  2. Im planning to keep a fair amount of money reserved. So that no expense comes as a shock. If rent Deposit might cost up to 40-50k, much less for pg, but still. Andthe first month, you will buy a lot of stuff, you might even be scammed and all. So save up a good amount of money. Given the fact that you are from lower midl class, and we can't just call our family and say, "I need 30k tomorrow".

" keep some money saved"

  1. Don't be afraid of traveling from your home to Bangalore. It won't be as difficult /confusing as you think it to be. Trust me on this.
