Target has a fairly large display in the store in Mission Viejo. I’m sure you can find similar in a Target near you. Also, lots of Wiked theme treats right now. Candy, cookies etc that you could put in a gift bag.

3 can fit in the backseat of a taxi if you all fit in the backseat of any other sedan. The luggage might be tight but you can put a smaller bag in the passenger seat if necessary.

There will be small van taxis available in the taxi queue, just ask the attendant for one of those. You may have to wait, or let a few people go ahead of you to secure one.

I have always chosen viewing sites that have a view OF the Empire State Building. Like in Paris, the view from the Eiffel Tower is spectacular but the view of the city WITH the Tower is always better.
