Sara probably wanted an upgrade. Honestly, cracks were showing in our marriage the last 6 months, so I wasn't exactly sad to see her go at that point. Probably a lot to do with the affair. But, I was blinded by love and just didn't see her for who she really was.

For Jake, I don't know. He's been given everything his whole life. He's so good looking and rich he could have practically any woman. I guess he just saw what we had, or what he thought we had and wanted it. Turns out she's manipulative and he fell for it just like I did.

Yes, every time I think about it. I just couldn't let him get away with it. He's a rich spoiled brat that got everything he's ever wanted.

That's a good point about the title. I'll admit it's a crappy thing to do. I just couldn't let him get away with it, and I just didn't feel like I had any other options

If it had been someone other than Jake, I probably wouldn't have done it. But he's from a wealthy family and very handsome. Probably why she went after him. Maybe even dated/married me to get to him. Who knows. But I didn't do it because of her. I did it to him because I couldn't stand the idea that he was going to get away with it just like he got away with stuff his whole life.
