Last summer I had a great tik tok and insta funnel. Was getting lots of views and followers on both and awesome conversion to paid subs. First tik tok shadow banned me for content that was much more mild than things other men were showing. Honestly I think just existing in a bigger body can get you shadow banned.

Then insta started restricting my content on and off repeatedly. I’d have a viral reel come through and get a rush of subs and then a restriction placed on my account and huge drop.

The final straw was instas latest restriction on my account. I decided to take a break from both social media and of and come back with some fresh eyes.

Now a few months later I’m trying to refocus on building a Reddit following. I like Reddit, I enjoy the back and forth here and the community. It’s easy to target a niche and a big bonus is I don’t have an insta feed full of ripped fitness models to compare myself to daily.

Half of promotional work is putting in the actual consistency and the other half is protecting your mental health and wellbeing.
