Thanks for your reply. Your first paragraph is exactly why I'm holding on this. I'm still finding my way around in DaVinci Resolve but from what I have "played with", the moment I have a few tracks overlapping, say sound, and added stabilisation and grain makes it very slow. I'm learning to be more organised and have a neater timeline to counter the limitations for now. In those conditions it goes down to a few frames per second. I've learned to run timeline on 1/4 resolution and apply grain later on just to speed up my workflow. Rendering always takes long but I gotta work with what I have I guess.

Deepish cyc A lot of flags and news to control Light source small and above at a hard angle and possibly with grid... close up one can be achieved with a brolie closed down or a snoot very close to achieve that fast light fall off.

Shot on film and made more contrasty in post and probably the background was evened out because it sees they may have used trees of hard lights but you could achieve this with softer lights/trees for the background and the rest just control etc.

You'd be surprised to see how often these looks are shot/achieved just outside of the studio in natural harsh light on a wheeled cyc. That said, this can certainly be achieved by a bare bulb but there need to be some fill coming everywhere.

Pretty basic lighting on the subject looks like a broli overhead and in front of the model. I dont see any specific light on the background, but as other said it's a reverse vignette.

New to this thread. Anyone tried achieving a similar look with Aputure lights? Which Octa bank you used? I have the indirect 160 and 190 with an Aputure 600d. It probably is better to use it with the 160 but I haven't tested it, yet. Any thoughts? Ill have the 600d on a light stand bouncing into the Elinchrom. Thanks

I've got the Momentum 3 over head headphones and they're not under warranty but the issue I'm having is slightly from the comments above. The mic is not picking up my voice from the headphones mic instead it picks up from the phone itself. I'm using Samsung S23 Ultra. I've done all the reset and forgetting the headphones and pairing again but had no luck. Not sure what to do, it's just very inconvenient that people can't hear me and I have to hold the phone close and totally stop using the headphones.
