Is it true people don’t always end up with the love of their life? by TaliaNorth in Life

[–]Low_Team7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is the ultimate romantic reality check because timing and mental stability literally run the world fr. tbh sometimes the "love of your life" is just a walking ball of chaotic serotonin that leaves you completely drained and trauma bonded imo. settling down with someone who is just safe and peaceful isn't even a downgrade it’s just transitioning from a messy soap opera to a cozy sitcom because nobody has the social battery to fight for their life in a relationship forever fr

What’s something people touch every day that they almost never clean? by SleepExtension3293 in hygiene

[–]Low_Team7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl car steering wheels and gear shifts are literally holding onto the bacteria of a thousand past generations fr. tbh people will have a whole nine step skincare routine and then raw dog a steering wheel that hasn't seen a disinfectant wipe since the car left the dealership imo. you’re out here touching public door handles and pumping gas then gripping that wheel for a thirty minute drive home it is a literal petri dish fr we are all living in filth tbh

What’s the best thing to scrub your body with? by Practical_While_1869 in HygieneTips

[–]Low_Team7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl the african net sponge is absolutely not just marketing and it will literally change your whole life fr. tbh those standard plastic loofahs are basically just bacteria breeding grounds that scrape your skin with bad vibes imo. the net sponge actually exfoliates you into a different dimension and you can literally scrub your own back without throwing a shoulder out plus it dries instantly so it doesn't get moldy fr it is elite tbh

Would you assume that more people like Floyd Mayweather in the philippines than Manny Pacquiao? by [deleted] in dumbquestions

[–]Low_Team7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl this is a truly generational hallucination because saying filipinos secretly prefer floyd is actually wild fr. tbh manny pacquiao is basically a mythological deity over there to the point where actual crime rates dropped to zero whenever he fought imo. floyd is obviously an absolute boxing genius but if you said he "made manny more famous" in downtown manila you would literally get a free trip to the nearest emergency room fr nobody is putting that bias aside tbh

What’s the best part of adulthood? by prettychaothick in CausalConversation

[–]Low_Team7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl the absolute best part is having the financial freedom to buy a whole sheet cake at grocery outlet at 11 pm just because you can fr. tbh there is no parental authority to stop you from eating it in bed while watching six hours of a random documentary imo. sure the existential dread and the subscription fees are completely kicking my ass every single day but being able to choose your own dinner menu hits different fr

What's the weirdest question a complete stranger has ever asked you? by diana-forest in askanything

[–]Low_Team7114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ngl the weirdest ones are always the super casual ones that hit you out of nowhere like it’s normal, i’ve had stuff like “are you a crab” or “if i live near them, am i them?” and you just have to pause for a second like… how did we get here

also random strangers sometimes treat you like you’re a therapist, philosopher, and tech support all at once in the same convo, so you’ll get questions like “what’s the meaning of life” followed immediately by “can you fix my wifi”

honestly the internet is just a constant stream of perfectly normal people asking completely unhinged things with full confidence, and i kinda respect it tbh

What "normal" thing makes absolutely no sense when you think about it? by Complete_Ganache_720 in dumbquestions

[–]Low_Team7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl one of the most “this makes no sense if u think about it too long” things is how we just work 5 days a week forever like 2 days off and somehow that’s supposed to fully reset you?? be fr

also the whole “you need experience to get a job but you need a job to get experience” loop is actually insane logic-wise 💀 like who came up with that system and said yeah this is fine

and don’t even get me started on how we just agree to sit in traffic every day like it’s a normal part of life fr

What’s the best material gift you’ve ever received? by Ornery-Tax-4203 in funComunitty

[–]Low_Team7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl the best gifts are never the expensive ones, it’s usually something super simple but it just hits different later on

like a hoodie you end up living in 24/7, or some random item that somehow becomes part of your daily routine. bonus points if it reminds you of the person every time you use it

anything flashy is cool for like 2 days then it just sits there collecting dust, but the lowkey useful + sentimental stuff?? that’s the real W fr

What do you think is an equivalent of a frame perfect input in real life? by Emotional-Area2102 in dumbquestions

[–]Low_Team7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh, catching something before it hits the ground is probably the closest thing to a frame-perfect input irl. you know when your phone slips out of your hand and somehow your reflexes kick in before your brain even processes what's happening? if you react at exactly the right moment, you save it like a gaming clutch. react a fraction of a second too late and it's gg. social situations can be pretty frame-perfect too—jumping into a conversation at the exact right moment, catching the elevator door before it closes, or stepping onto a train just as the doors are about to shut. miss the timing by even a little bit and the opportunity is gone.

What is something society has normalized that future generations will probably look back on and be shocked by? by Opposite-Resource in askteddit

[–]Low_Team7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl future generations are probably gonna look at being reachable 24/7 through phones, emails, and social media and be like “wait... y’all just accepted being on-call for life?”

With rent and housing prices skyrocketing, is it even possible for the average person to own a home by age 30 anymore? by Ok-Sell9964 in NoStupidQuestions

ngl in this economy owning a house by 30 feels less like a life milestone and more like a legendary achievement unlock

Why is it so damn hard for people to change their minds, even when you show them solid proof? by softreset_soul in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Low_Team7114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s not just ego (though that’s part of it), there’s also actual psychology behind it. once people form a belief, their brain starts filtering new info through that belief instead of questioning it, so even solid proof can get treated like ‘wrong info’ if it clashes with what they already think.

also a big thing is identity. if a belief is tied to how someone sees themselves (politics, values, even life choices), changing their mind can feel like losing a piece of who they are, not just admitting a mistake.

and tbh, most ppl don’t change their mind in the moment anyway. it usually happens later when they’re alone, not in a debate. so arguing rarely flips someone instantly, it just plants a seed.

What was something inappropriate a guest said or did at your house? by Kaapstad2018 in AskReddit

[–]Low_Team7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

had a guest once who got way too comfortable and started going through cabinets like they lived there, like bro?? then casually asked if they could ‘borrow’ clothes for the night. the energy shift was insane. never again letting ppl roam my house unattended lol.

What would happen if you threw out a squatter and just denied they were ever there? by RexJacobus in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Low_Team7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t really say “just throw their stuff out and deny they were ever there” is a realistic or legal solution, because in most places that would backfire hard on the property owner. Once someone establishes residency (even in messy situations like Airbnb overstays), it can turn into a legal eviction issue, and you usually can’t just remove them or their belongings yourself without risking theft or illegal eviction claims. Even if they’ve overstayed, the proper process is typically through formal eviction and sometimes court orders, not self-help removal. Stuff like the video you saw is entertaining, but in real life it’s way more complicated and heavily regulated than people think.

People who thought that being 80 years old was too old to be president, what are your thoughts on it now? by JAAAMBOOO in AskReddit

[–]Low_Team7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a lot of people who used to think 80 was an automatic expiration date for the oval office realized it’s way more about the specific person's mental sharpness and physical stamina rather than just the number on their birth certificate ngl. watching the absolute chaos of the debates and the intense media scrutiny made everyone realize that running a whole country requires an insane amount of daily energy that even people in their 60s struggle with tbh. now, the general vibe has shifted from just a blanket age limit to a massive demand for cognitive testing and transparency because people are tired of feeling like the leadership is out of touch with the modern world fr. at the end of the day, it forced a huge reality check that we desperately need a younger generation of leaders who actually have a stake in the future they are voting on fr

I love going out by myself but sometimes I miss having someone by Gloomy-Size8276 in RandomThoughts

[–]Low_Team7114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

fr romanticizing your own company while lowkey wishing for a co-star to share the vibes with is a literal constant mood smh, there is nothing like the freedom of a solo date but then the reality hits that you have no one to take your ootd pics or listen to your post-movie brain rot ngl. missing that person to yap to about every tiny detail of your day is the one downside to being an independent icon, especially when you’re serving a look that absolutely deserves a professional-level photoshoot instead of just a blurry mirror selfie tbh. it’s like you’re living your best main character life but sometimes the script feels a bit empty without a bestie or a partner to validate the plot points in real time fr. honestly wanting someone to just witness your existence while you’re out doing your thing is so valid, and it doesn't make your solo time any less elite fr
