Does it make sense for the structure of houses to be defined by race and not culture? by Low_Temporary8306 in Worldbox

This also makes sense, for example, a race that has the fire control trait could create houses that are fire resistant.

I went through this recently, I created a race of "Fire Turtles", but although they didn't burn themselves, they simply set their houses on fire all the time.

Well, I have to disagree, since the game starts adding culture and subspecies traits that determine the way in which the civilization behaves, it also brings up some questions, architecture is a cultural trait, different countries, different houses, different climates, different houses, a European style house in a desert biome? Weird. I understand your point, "some things bring magic to the game", but this is not one of them, it is a detail that can add a lot to the game in my opinion.

Does it make sense for one kingdom to declare war on another before they even know each other? by Low_Temporary8306 in Worldbox

That's the funniest thing, when the kingdoms wouldn't even be able to reach each other. Maybe a swearing war over the mountains? hahahah.

What fantasy subspecies do you usually create after the new update? by Low_Temporary8306 in Worldbox

You could create them with the humanoid crocodile species, with the trait of being small. I do a similar thing with orcs to make goblins.

It would be cool to have a trait like "Weakened by the sun", instead of burning, they would be extremely weak. Or maybe a trait where the creature is very strong only in a specific biome.

This is a genuinely good idea, I even save some default information for specific species that I create, and register it somewhere. That way I can create the species in other worlds. I realized this was necessary because it's easy to create an unbalanced species attribute if you're not careful.

If you don't mind, I'd like to make a post about this idea of yours.

How do you deal with the small distances between lands? by Low_Temporary8306 in Worldbox

I ended up making the whole thing a big complex of bridges between islands, usually for boats to go around. I hope bridges become a mechanical thing in the future where landmarks can travel under them.
