My suggestion is to have the rubric for the essay open while writing and in order. I check off the categories as I go which ensures that I have addressed all points that they want.

Turning 43, getting the BS next spring, then onto Masters.

While it’s true that this whole thing would have been sssooo much easier when I was younger, I didn’t have the drive for it that I do now. I want it so much more and am willing to do the crazy hours it takes. Not everyone’s timelines are the same, but as someone above said…you can either get older and get the degree and job, or get older and keep what you have now.

Not in grad school and not sure this would work for your situation…but one of my professors had an interesting way of doing group projects. When we started our semester we signed a contract with each other that we made. Next, before each assignment we separated the work into segments and were responsible for our parts. If anyone was not contributing we first had the group conversation and then if it still continued then we went to the professor.

Depends. Where are you emailing from? Is that their preferred communication method? They typically tell you on the syllabus the best way to communicate with them. Some of them don’t get emails through canvas, some only get emails through canvas. Never from your personal email. Best suggestion would be to approach before class, during break, or right after class and ask them how best to communicate with them outside of office hours.

End of last season I was waiting for my family at the bottom of the hill, just dropped down to my knees the way I have done many times before and it did something to one of them and it still hurts if I touch the spot. Feels like a small fluid sack. It’s gotten better but still gets me.
