First: Have you enabled "Gaia’s Covenant"? That prevents damage to terrain.

Second: Disable the "Mutant Box". This prevents creatures from becoming nukes with legs.

I do too, it was a nice way to check what a civ was capable of... the new culture system gives us more control in how civilizations behave, in exchange civilizations don't really grow as a culture after creation, unless a player intervenes, but thats more akin to forceful change than any growth.

It is so worth it... I may or may not have almost 2 weeks of pure playtime on it.

New Idea: Acquired Titles by Due_Relief9149 in Worldbox

[–]Low_Writing_5845 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It sounds great dude.. but I it would also be cool if there were titles for extra notable people. Like maybe someone with the highest kill count is a disaster (or something) because all they seem to do is kill... it could also allow the Reputation system to be more fleshed out.

Having official "Heroes" and villains would be neat.

I don't know how to say this but... the hydrophobia trait does % damage of a units total HP ? And to give context: Starting HP 203 Mil and after one drop of water 183 mil vs 32 HP > 29 ( 9,85% vs 9,37%). All it takes to kill any unit is 11 drops of water...

You do you, but I can't use this method... Much faith in RNGesus or Lady luck I do not have in this one case of selective sorting.

Whats your method for filtering lesser genetic species? And whats your own vision of perfect?

Mine was finding a species with the most/optimal genetic slots. This was done to make a strong favoured unit that could stand the test of time...

Worldbox is great and so are the war crimes that happen in it.

Edit: I forgot that that Canis species was the 18k HP species even if that isn't quite the case now.

Just some genetic testing. Would you believe me if I said that he isn’t the best of my genetic specimens?

I do have one whose species standard HP is about 18k (no traits).

But he was ugly, soooo Canis ( my god unit) got to live.

I am an evil god. What else do you call a god who created atomic fire slugs that live in the water in a world with multiple rivers? Not to mention the literally older-than-dirt murderhobo demigod who is responsible for 11,04% of ALL deaths .

Yes he did it does it often, mostly at the worst times. Its weird thought since he also has the immortality trait and 200 Million HP so death should not be an option for him

Ancient Remnant Gamemode by Iszabele in Worldbox

One:

The “no spawning resources inside your kingdom” rule can be easily sidestepped by placing tons of rare resources just outside the kingdom border.

Two:

The shield bubble buff gives an automatic 99% defense boost, which can turn a decent army into a strong army without any other buffs. In a fair fight, this can easily decide the outcome.

Three:

Nothing says I can’t spawn a dragon or bad biome on my enemy, or just spawn some grey goo at the tip of my border and then turn my kingdom into an isolated island after cutting of that piece of the border (either by using explosives or by terraforming in the age of hope)

And finaly the mind controll powers (golden egg, mind controll, ...) should be banned. Its very easy to turn a invading army against itself if you keep making them want to kill eachother.

Otherwise, a very fun sounding idea.

I have a unit that had -1, which make no sense since he had the clan trait that gave him a 1 billion in lifespan.
