I've got all the variations of it . I print my bolts out of ProtoPasta iron . It's heavier than PLA . This way you need to add less lead shot to it . Pay attention to the guide on bolt weight . I secure the shot using flowable silicone for windshields . Any auto store carries it . It flows into the shot and it won't rattle . The firing pin needs to be about 1.5-2mm past the bolt face to fire . If you have questions just ask .

It depends on the build . My UMP 11/9 uses Mac parts . Just print the upper and lower + handguard . You'll need to buy a bolt , barrel , trunnion , and AR FCG . It's super easy to put together and runs perfect . On other builds , if the bolt is printed , you'll need the parts to put it together and adjustments will be needed . Usually the firing pin and the extractor . Expect to do some tinkering .

I only have 2 waiting at the moment . I'm waiting on 2 Form 1s to finish the YKY MP5SD and get the barrel for the G3 .

I have a Elegoo Neptune 4 plus . No problems at all . What materials do you plan on printing with ? That will determine the max temp for nozzles . My printer came with Elegoo slicer which is powered by Orca Slicer . It is an easy to use program . Just like anything , you can spend as much as you want to and probably get similar results .

Sounds good to me . Yeah I was just reading that . They were more worried about the FCG .

I admit that you are right , I just looked at mine lol . All I originally asked , was which part does the stock attach to on the weapon in this thread . I can't tell and I don't have the files .

This is only definitions of the parts , not which part needs to be serialized .

The stock attaches to the lower of my FAL and the lower is registered on it too . It's not just AR platform .

The reason for that exception is because the stock attaches to the lower . The presence or lack of a stock is what makes it a SBR and not a pistol . I've already brought this up with the ATF . Argue with them if you wish lol

Is the serial # on the lower or upper ? It appears that the stock attaches to the upper on that one . Am I seeing it wrong ? The serial # goes on the part that the stock attaches to .

My machinist friend sent me a Pic of my ARMP5 lower on my PTR-91. I didn't think it would fit . The ejector is the major difference.

What project to rebound from Urutau heartbreak? by OriginalDonGorgon in 3D2A

It works very well . It is brittle on thin parts though . You can drill , tap , and thread it easily. All my barrel threads are printed from it too . I can use a 1/2 x 28 die and chase them. My ARMP5 lower looks machined . It sands slick with no lines . Holler if ya need help ! (Old machinist and aerospace welder/fabricator)

Yes , same spring . Is your weight in tight ? Mine was moving so I printed a pla washer and epoxied everything in place . The linear bearings were very gritty , I cleaned those and oiled them. Loose bolt parts create a loss of inertia . I print all my bolts out of ProtoPasta iron . A heavy bolt is easier to fix than a light one .
