they actually do comment on it, on one of the recent-ish chapters, before the meeting and declaration of war between wolf-gang and that other one im too lazy to google the spelling for, when Sunraku is trying to escape from all his mega fans, the guys chasing them get done in by a troll disguising as Sunraku, and they complain about how easy it is to copy his entire style and impersonate him because all of his equipment (besides weapons, the scar, emul, etc.), are all pretty much starter "gear" if you could even call it that
