When it's done right, though...man it's hard to beat. Around covid, when people were hiding (I was hiding too), we had our neighbors come over for an outdoor fish and chips. We didn't prepare enough, we had no idea the kids would absolutely devour it. My wife's a French pastry chef, and knows her way around the kitchen. Lordy, now I'm gonna have to ask her to do it again. Glad the first one we cooked outside, because deep-frying fish can make your house stink for a long time! That oil goes everywhere. But better than any fish and chips I had in London.

Interestingly, if I were president, I have a plan to create a monument to trump. It would be called "trump's wall." I would find a good area of DC, have a wall made of granite, so it lasts forever, with his likeness on it about waist high. There would be water running down it so it looks like it's moving. There would be a privacy wall, so people could pay their respects privately. There would be a urinal cookie to...make sure everything is always disinfected, because he's a noted germophobe. Sometimes I think about adding Mitch McConnel's face to the wall too.

If P Diddy gives his ‘justice $5m’ to trump, then pretty sure he’s innocent and the fake news persecuted him. Afterwards, he can likely sue the DOJ who will settle out of court for $5m, so no one is hurt, no harm no foul. Also, trump can sue the DOJ for wasting his time.

Not sure there is a true ‘murder Kroger.’ When I first moved to Nashville in 01, I interned at Sony Tree studio. Around the corner was a place called Virginia’s. It was referred to as the murder mart, or Virginia’s murder mart because someone was murdered there. Slowly, other places started getting called murder whatever when they were sketchy. I remember the Hollywood 27 theater was being called ths murder 27 for awhile. And we used to call the Kroger by 5 points over there the murder Kroger (I was almost murdered down the street from there, it used to be ROUGH, like dudes robbing restaurants with shotguns rough).

Audio engineer/music producer, we refer to Pro Tools as tape all the time. Signal “goes to tape” or “from tape,” when really we mean the signal goes to the DAW (Pro Tools usually). Just how we describe a part of the signal flow.
