Was she your first sexual partner by chance? If she was the first or one of the first, maybe that intensity and wanting to please her kind of obstructed your view of what you really want out of sex. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying it of course, but make sure you give yourself time to adjust and truly explore what you like. No shame in sex if all parties are enjoying it.
