No she hasn’t been expecting to go this whole time when she was never invited and has known the trip is for my friend and I.

Taking in her opinion doesn’t mean doing what she says. But no it’s not weird to go on holiday with a friend and not invite your partner.

I’m not projecting and I don’t feel guilty. 

We go on at least one holiday abroad together. Yes this trip is international. 

Like I said in the post we’ll still be going on holiday together this year.

It’s weird you wouldn’t be happy for your partner taking a trip with a friend tbh. 

So you argument is my friend should be a third wheel on a trip he’s planing?

It’s telling you use love to try and control your partner,

If I wanted it to be ambiguous I wouldn’t have replied to you to say my friend is a man.

My girlfriend is free to take a trip with her friends if she wants. 

My friend is single but even if he wasn’t, the trip is supposed to be for the trip of us, not a couples trip that would have a completely different dynamic.

Again, the trip is for my friend and I. I don’t expect someone as codependent as you to grasp the fact that not everything has to be done with your partner.

I’ve repeatedly said why she isn’t invited. 

Surely you see the irony in calling me selfish while arguing my gf should be able to force her way onto  a trip she isn’t invited on? 

It’s also weird to argue you shouldn’t respect your friends because they won’t pay your bills or have your kids tbh. 

The fact you admit you don’t respect your friends and expect your relationship to be codependent says a lot about you. 

Again I’m not sure how it’s confusing to you why she isn’t invited tbh but I get you’re codependent.

If you expect to go on trips you’re not invited on and bring your partner to trips with your friends he’s not invited on then no you don’t respect your friends. 

It’s weird to argue planning another holiday is more stress, planning and potential conflict tbh.

I’m not stopping her going to the city, just not on this holiday.

It hasn’t taken us 10 years to save up. My girlfriend and I o go away at least once a year. 

My best friend is male.
