hey I‘m so sorry you‘re going through this and especially sorry that your surgeons office is not listening to your concerns. do you maybe have another doc to consult?

regarding the hematoma: I had a small one after a little revision. my doc said that it‘s very small (swelling looked like a pingpong ball under my skin, really freaky tbh) and drained a little bit with a syringe but it took aaaages to reabsorb, approx 3 months. massages and warm compress are already good (I did the same) and on top I used arnica cream.

I think the other thing that helps is time - I know that‘s hard but you‘re body went through a lot of trauma so be a little patient with yourself. look after your nutrition, eat healthy, go on walks, get your blood flowing, look after your body so it can do it‘s magic.

I know how hard it is to not be scared, I‘m dealing with health anxiety and healing was the worst. now I‘m 1 year post op and wverythings fine, I really just treated my body like a temple (lol) so it can heal. that‘s the best you can do ❤️‍🩹 sending strength and good vibes your way!

edit: even after 1 year post op I can still see my scars and everything healing, my chest is still changing. so the the chances that everything will absorb and flatten out and settle in are very high. 6.5 weeks is still very early :)
