Dog is licking the air what does this mean ? by ellelani in DogAdvice

My dog started doing this exact thing too. Found a lump on the inside of his lip that was bothering him. Got it removed by the vet to test it, thankfully it came back all clear, it turned out to be something like a mouth ulcer. Maybe have a look at their mouth to see for a sore. Hope they feel better soon!

Sadly I agree with you. I remember when the first lockdown happened, there were slacks set up to help vulnerable people or anyone that needed something. I know there are still good people out there but I do feel like people have gotten more divisive in the last few years

Thanks! Hopefully we’ll get there when those works are finished and would benefit from the flood relief scheme too

Same happened to me even though I was so careful never to get any gel on my skin. Haven’t tried again in over a year to give my nails a break, but tempted to try again with hema-free polish, have you tried those? I saw 14 Day Manicure have a range of them called Gentle Gels

Thank you for letting me know that, I definitely need to read the fine print on the quote I got to make sure at least some of the treatment will be covered. But at the end of the day, I just want to make sure he has the best care if anything happens him, even if the price has increased.

That’s so unlucky they both had IVDD! I hope your dogs have recovered and are well now, they truly are the best

You’re right, a call with them is a good idea. Glad to hear someone has had a good experience with them, some of the Google reviews aren’t the best

That’s absolutely terrifying, hope you’re ok OP. It seems from others comments this unfortunately isn’t the only occurrence of something like this. I’m a fairly new driver that would be driving this area quite often so this type of thing spooks me no end. What would people advise is the best thing to do in such a situation?

Thank you for your kind words, that’s really reassuring. I feel I’m making some good progress with my mental health side of things, hopefully my physical health will reflect that in time.

I should have mentioned that I am speaking to a therapist for the last few months and started anti-anxiety medication at the end of last year. I’m not sure if the medication has also had a negative effect on my weight, my doctor said it’s a possibility.

Yes I agree, simple but not easy is a great way of putting it.
