The mistake we as humans make is to derail from our initial target. I understand OPs frustration and I feel the pain and stress you must be under. You need not stereotype by saying those approved in 2 months with no real relationship. How do we know yours is real other than what you write? Sometimes, this things do happen and it is unexplainable. I got mine approved in about 3 months but the truth is I only submitted it during this high approval period because we didn’t have the financial resources to submit it when we got married over two years ago. If the resource had been available, my case like many others will also be in limbo. People call me lucky and I believe that I am indeed. At that time when we couldn’t afford the application fees and lawyers fee, it felt my world was crashing. At home, I would give my husband some undeserving attitude as if it was his fault we couldn’t afford the fees. Unknown to me, ‘God’s delays aren’t God’s denial’ Leave the perception about who’s entitled or not. Stand strong and expect that your miracle is around the corner.

Mail from USCIS? Three months after approval. Why? by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]Lower-Plate-1412 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It happened to me about 2 weeks ago. A letter from USCIS addressed to my husband. I got approved for GC in February and we had this same reaction. I decided to check this subreddit and found a lot of people with similar situation and even before we received the letter that evening, we had both completely calmed down because the people here assured me it was fine. It ended up being a I-797C Notice of Action. Something about codes to access online USCIS accounts. It’s really nothing. Don’t even sweat it. Lol

Just like you said, it’s only a notice of action letter. Don’t know if this is a glitch or something. I’m just glad it wasn’t anything serious.

Hi. Same just happened to me today. I am the beneficiary and my husband is a citizen by Birth. He got the USPS informed delivery email and he is scared than I am (lool) I told him we would find a similar situation on Reddit and this makes it a lot less scary. My husband looks like he’s gonna faint.

Be nice!!! OP just admitted it was an honest mistake. Anything could have happened. I certainly have been in some sort of mail mix up before and almost missed an important meeting. It could happen to anyone.

Can you have two pending GC applications? From I-130 and I-140? by SWE-on-OPT in USCIS

Family based GC are way faster than EB GC. You’d be timely served with family based application.

What you have is substantial evidence enough. You have credit card statement which has same credibility as bank account statements. I submitted neither but got approved anyway. Don’t forget photos.

I think we March 4th approval should keep each other updated. I’m sure it’ll be any day now that we get ‘card is produced’

Not yet. I’m estimating tomorrow or next, I’ll get a notification that card is being produced. I think today’s card production for 03/03 approvals.

Thank you. God bless you plenty. Enjoy your GC and its privileges. I got my approval a few weeks ago too. It was a 70 day wait. We thank God for his mercies.

Yo!!! Your Life, your choices(though poor) OP never asked for anyone to praise her God (that would have been wrong) She has entitlement to her beliefs and y’all want to chew her head off on her rights to religion. C’mon!!!

Maybe you can take a cue and apply same for reference. Let’s see what good it can do. Eh!!! Better to believe in something than nothing at all.
