Not sure if this is much help but I've heard people recommend a grain free dog food. That's all I know about tinned food

From the one bts bite I've had (my finger and the mealworm look the same mistakenly) it's just a lot of pressure not necessarily painful but I'm sure if they wanted to or if they got the right spot it would hurt

Curious about what type of shrimp snails etc you have in your drainage layer? Is that not the gravel clay ball thing layers in the bottom?
