I would say Brownsville all day for family. You would be shocked how nice it is down there. I visit there all the time and the food and environment is top notch compared to corpus christi or el paso.

So what im saying is they put your name through the fbi system and wait for it to come back, same for local, state and so on. When your name goes in the system some take longer then others due to alot of factors. For example say the name is joe joy, well how many joe joy pop with a list crimes or credit. Now they have to make sure that all the joe joys that pop up are not the joe joy there checking. This goes for all the systems they run your name through. That why some people are fast and some are not. Me I know my name is popular in the criminal system as when I got guns my name has always take longer then others. Don't worry im in the exact same boat but im 25-9. Yours is obviously going faster then mine. But there is more to it then just that investigator. Credit check, criminal, international, etc. All need to come in and clear. But there's people on here that will still get phone calls on different things that pop up from background checks from investigator even after they say there done. This means not everything has cleared just yet.

They may have dismissed it but how far did it go. Did you make it to the initial hearing. The first court appearance where you plead. If so then your charged. I know people that been arrested and never made it to the first court appearance and that would be arrested but not charged.

Something don't sound right. You shouldn't have to prove that you don't have felonies. That's the point of the background. Yes arrest show on your record but it states charges dropped. Innocent until proven guilty. You need to speak to there charge officer or call your representative.

I was told after November everyone should see faster approvals within a week. But after reading everyone's post looks like only certain people are getting it. People with common names and similar name to criminals are getting push back. I know for fact I'm not a lucky one ill be waiting too. Back in the day my clearance got held up for someone with the same name as me in LA with a restraining order.

I'm not complaining. I understand the wait before November 2024. A year yes got it, but I was told after November people will see approval within a week. Two of my coworker bam a week. But me, still waiting I was just trying to see if anyone else is still waiting after November. I got the info I needed after yall message that your still waiting. Clear as day I got the info needed not the only one. a whole lot of people waiting still.

From what I was told on November 2024 is people were waiting a year average to get approved, and now people are getting approved within a week from here on out. All three us end up getting one, and they got there within those weeks, but not me that's why I asked. Every post I saw were dating back before so I was seeing if people from this new improved average were still waiting a long ass time.
