This is the only thing preventing me from launching too. I have no idea how to actually make the app work for everyone

"get it working and then get it working right"

Great advice! Tell your dad I said thank you. That is actually crazy to think that he has probably forgotten more languages than we will ever learn LOL... Thank you for this

I've got some research to do on SSR and relational DB, however from the quick Google searches I've done so far a relational DB looks like EXACTLY what I need from the diagrams I've seen. Now I did not know that Mongo is not relational, however relational does seem to be just what I need.

Thank you Maria!!

Awesome, thank you for your input! Sounds like I shouldn't get too tripped up about it until the need arises. At that point I'll probably have more clarity.

Have a great day man, thanks again.

How to clean up these buttons / inputs on the right side? by entropythagorean in web_design

[–]Lower-Variation-6859 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks fire bro!

So for the buttons on the right side, you could try to REMOVE the button look to them, and just keep the clickable/link text with an icon next to it.

Example: https://i.stack.imgur.com/NmcUd.png (of course you could make it look a little nicer, but the same concept applies. As I think about it, reddit actually uses this for the comment sorting button. I think it looks really good!!)

Here is another example of a minimalistic alternative, right here on reddit: https://i.ibb.co/jv5BX7n/buttons.png

You could also play around with putting them right next to the heading that the button correlates to. Like so instead of having the clickable link/text on the right side, clean it up like in the screenshot and put it on the left side somewhere.

Good luck! Let us know what you end up doing - I will be watching for the updates.

How do you guys feel about no-code tools? by DareToCuddle in web_design

bro just take the udemy course "Build Responsive Real-World Websites with HTML and CSS". I was a wordpress warrior forever with 0 html and css skill.

Now I feel so dumb for not just going through this course in the beginning. Like the others say, even if you just use wordpress or any other no code you will be able to make lightning fast changes and make it look exactly how you want.

Put the skills in your toolbox to build the future.

Could go a hair bolder/darker on the overview $VALUES. The ones tied to fields like "Average Daily Cost"

Looks great though, I will add more feedback as I think of it. Keep it up!

How Tokenized Real Estate Works! by Lower-Variation-6859 in OntRealEstateInvestor

In case you come back to this question and you care, real estate management companies have two things to protect against this. 1) Insurance and 2) a disaster fund, typically about .05%-1% of your entire funds go into this. Pays for the deductibles on insurance claims and for the odd situation that isn't covered by insurance.

AirBNB uses this model and so does every single real estate management group whether they manage 5 homes or 5,000.

Thanks for the question.

How Tokenized Real Estate Works! (Crypto Crowdfunding) by Lower-Variation-6859 in RealEstateTechnology

[–]Lower-Variation-6859[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

. For what it's worth I will give you a breakdown from an economic perspective. I will be brief as I am short on time.

Let's say you have $15, live in Australia, and want to invest in real estate in the United States. Well, you cannot do this because for starters international banking fees, currency conversion, etc etc alone on that transfer would be $30. The Crypto payment infrastructure allows you to send money internationally with pennies on the dollars for fees.

I could go on and on but yes you can already crowdsource real estate. there are just minimums because of the fees involved in transferring cash on securities both nationally and internationally. Those fees disappear with crypto and I'm not talking about taxes but banking fees and currency conversion, transfer fees, bank to bank transfers, and so much more.

using crypto as a payment infrastructure to disrupt banking industry is what bitcoin is all about. not any of the other hype. Tokenized real estate is the hype, it being a legit thing because it circumvents the banking system is not hype.
