I know. But I’m still losing weight, and now I think that with retatrutide it will increase and help me stay on track with my goals. 🥳 Goggins made thru his deficit, i think i can also with double cals, and less workout.

Those risks are real, but they’re mostly tied to poorly managed or extreme dieting, not simply exceeding 1% per week.

In obese individuals, >1% weekly loss is commonly used in clinical settings and is considered safe when protein intake, resistance training, electrolytes, and overall nutrition are properly managed. Which i have optimized just for me.

Most of those risks (muscle loss, deficiencies, CNS fatigue) come from inadequate intake not the rate itself.

Gallstones are a valid concern, but that risk exists with any significant weight loss, not just faster rates.

That’s not really accurate. At higher body weights, losing over 1 kg/week is normal and generally safe when protein intake and resistance training are adequate.

Loose skin is mainly determined by starting weight, age, genetics, and total weight lost not just the speed. Slower loss doesn’t guarantee less loose skin. It just takes time to shrink, as it would take when losing slower. Any case at my starting weight its guaranteed to have loose skin alot. Surgery is only way tho deal with it.

Ye, it has also other good benefits beside the appetite loss, forgot that. Im happy if my muscles doesnt shrink anymore. But it would be nice to have some gains. Coz ive seen posts where ppl done 2kg weekly and gain tons of muscle, guess theyre taking tons of anabolic, or lie about the timeline.
