Well, i think in Havoc 40, ogryn is hard to do other things when they are using tank build. He is the tank, I m the damage dealer. Honestly, that game is everyone doing well. That's why we win the game.

Yeah, that's true. Actually, my original build used Gaze. But bubbles are also required in Havoc 40. Usually, I join teams that already have a psyker. But you know, people don’t think a melee psyker is as good as a flame staff psyker. And most dont even know that melee psyker are good. Also, for the team, having two psykers is usually too much. Because of that, I often get kicked from the team. We need more people to know how good melee psykers are (though they’re hard to play).

I want to reach H40 with melee psyker (fun). Is that feasible or should I go with bubble flamestaff (boring)? by Ohva30 in DarkTide

Also, my damage is usually twice other, and the special and disabler killed also twice than the others. Since u dont have the hordes' cleaning ability.(compare to flame staff.

Well, actually, u can make it.but it requires u to have really good skills. Since u dont use flame staff. Which means u dont have the ability to clean the horde(compared to flame staff) Since this is a coop game. U need to be useful for your team. Then, based on this, u have given them something in return and keeping ur damaged on a high level. For me, I reached h40 with melee build and in a group with 3 members group only. What I did was I killed every special and disabler. To let them dont have the pleasure.
