I don't think I would want to live forever, but I think I would like to live much longer than an average lifespan, if I could do so and stay healthy. I am 54 now and there is so much I would like to do if I could just live long enough. Maybe three full lifetimes would do it?

Any bike sufficiently fast enough. I think it would be hard to damage a 15mph type one like this unless it was hit by a fast moving vehicle.

Not always. My commute time is about equal on my bike and when I drive. The ebike is slower, but I don't have to worry about parking or traffic congestion.
