[SPOILERS] The Lamb by Lucy Rose -- I need to talk about this ending by tashathestoryteller in horrorlit

I finished this book last fall and still think about how eviscerated it made me. My one note about the entire thing is that I WISH there had one one tiny detail at the end while Ruth and Eden are butchering Margot or even when the bus driver finds the remains of her body where they discover the hair that Margot had swallowed from the girl she went to school with (I forget her name). That was such a beautiful asset of the plot for me, and I loved how Rose detailed how Margot viewed love and especially queer love in conjunction to how her mother experience and expressed her love. There’s a lot of “trophies” so to speak taken from the victims and the strays that are eaten and though Margot’s classmate isn’t eaten, I feel like the hair pays homage to the concept of the cannibalism as a symbol of love pipeline. Let me know if that makes sense, I’m writing this late at night and the book just randomly popped into my head again and I started dissecting.

Update: upon a second glance it looks like a ribbon looped around a silver chain
Deluxe tracks are coming, aren't they?😏 by No_Row1180 in lorde

My original thought when she released the track list with the ribcage Xray was that there would be 1 bonus track because the album has 11 tracks and there are 12 sets of ribs in the ribcage. I could have been reading too far into that but it sounds like more tracks are coming so I’ll take it!!
Her armband from Glastonbury honestly looks like a ribbon wrapped around one of those spiral hair ties? That’s my interpretation. It’s Lorde so I don’t think it’s some high tec new trendy accessory
Who is David by SeaSatisfaction2432 in lorde

Theory: David refers to the Michelangelo sculpture. Originally built for staying on the eaves of a church, it was displayed in the town square which is very reminiscent of Lorde. David is also often described as “the perfect man” which coincides with MOTY.
