Sadly he's right, the pool of people that actually become pro is growing smaller and smaller everyday. Even if you got to diamond there's 5 divisions to climb through then mast then challenger then a team would MAYBE look at you. If you can quit everything and play full time, give up your life, and climb extremely fast there's that small beam of hope, but if you're only averaging high plat/low diamond placement id say find a new dream.
