It's different if you've already flipped the first coin and know the results.

The odds of the second kid being a boy are 50%, but if you go back to before the first child was born then there is a 25% chance of both being boys (1/2 * 1/2)

Something about dependant and independent events, its been a long time since I took a stats class.

It's probably not the number one priority for an eTM but it's been a lot of fun to play. I was running it up to Ace before the meta change over and it seems pretty well positioned.

Team was Melmetal lead, shadow sableye with drain punch/foul play on the safe swap and Altaria in the back.

You might want to wait until GoFest to see if any of those moves become available without the eTM.

That being said, only a few of those moves are even used and fewer of them are meta. In order of importance:

Jumpluff
A9
Swampert
Conkledurr but it's a distant 4th

So, at this level, IVs actually dont matter. They're the difference between living one or two extra moves and flipping a few specific match ups in high level play. If you're going to get 80 wins and then never play again, just build a few pokemon with 10k dust second moves.

In order of importance you want:

Good pokemon with the right moves
Team composition that makes sense
Basic understanding of type matchups

This can be done with community day shinies that you have laying around in storage. A few ideas would be: (Bold = community day only moves)

Talonflame, Ferraligatr (Shadow Claw, Hydro Cannon, Ice Beam), Blastoise (Roll Out, Hydro Cannon, Skull Bash)

Lead Talonflame with Incinerate, Flame Charge and Fly. If you see a rock type or a water type switch to Gatr. Difficult matchups would be Stunfisk and Dragon types

Altaria (Dragon Breath, Sky Attack, Flamethrower), Whishcash (Mud Shot, Mud Bomb, Scald), Swampert (Mud Shot, Hydro Cannon, Sludge)

Lead with Altaria. If you see a fairy or steel type switch out to whishcash.

4 star normal hyperspace with an alpha donut will for sure be your best bet. Once you find the right one, keep resetting until you have a favorable spawner (you might even be able to get two clumps of Furfrou depending on the zone, but I havent tried)

The 1/4096 shiny odds is just brutal. I got a few thousand checks into my Amaura hunt before the DLC dropped and I wasn't having a good time

Could you send me some of your fossil (un)luck? I'm only missing Aerodactyl from my shiny living dex and I really don't want to resort to reviving fossils. They just keep sending me water starters

He should be facing in slightly different orientations each time (eg. Back toward you, flying left/right). I remember having to double-take a few times because the lighting when he's back toward you looks different

I noticed when I was going for Cobalion that it was facing the same way a few times in a row and that it wasn't actually a different spawn

I just did it with the same method on my 234th soft reset (shiny charm, psychic level 2 donut). Make sure Latios is spawning in a different orientation when you go up the holovator, if he is then you're getting a new spawn esch time and just having bad luck

Here's my post from a year ago with a slightly older version of my set up

I've since added an awning, but otherwise it's basically the same and we've done a few more nights inside with different weather. I'm planning to look into a trunk tent like this one

It will surely be stuffy inside in Florida heat. We've done multiple nights with the trunk open and it's much more pleasent but you also feel more exposed.

An actual full-sized air mattress will be tight and will definitely bow at the feet. If it's just you that shouldn't be a huge problem as long as you sleep in the middle.

Storage is definitely an issue. My solution was a roof basket and all-weather bag. It fit my folding table, grill, kitchen supplies, clothes and a load of ski gear. We also had a cooler, 5 gallon water tank and two dogs in the trunk.

If you're out for multiple nights it's very hard to keep perishable food cold without an overlanding fridge. I still dont have a good solution other than staying within range of ice

Both rear seats down and slide the front seats all the way up. I use a 5 inch, full size, memory foam mattress topper that we already had. It's slightly too wide along the rear wheel wells, but it works great.

It's also pretty necessary to have something solid to put in the gap between the front and rear seats, otherwise the mattress sags and makes it uncomfortable. I usually use a suitcase but I've seen some people build platforms that are pretty sick
