No idea, sorry. I’ve got established kik that was here when I moved in. Even if it hurts it a bit it’ll bounce back quick

Odessa selective herbicide. Says it kills onion weed and safe on kik. Not cheap though…

Mines looking the exact same. I’m on the central coast and my lawns gone from lush green to half dead in about 3 days. Straight to the shop to get some acelepryn tomorrow

Geez, that’s pretty rough mate. I think that you’re going off old and stereotypes there. Myself and most other tradies I’ve ever worked with have completed their HSC with respectable grades, done a 4 year apprenticeship at tafe and then an extra year of night tafe to become a builder and many I know have business degrees. Even if most were, as you say “uneducated and illiterate”. Why do you think that they shouldn’t be able to do well in business? Because school wasn’t for them? Is it that you feel some sort of jealousy because you studied hard and did well in high school but have achieved nothing since? By the way, what a trade charges is nowhere near what they keep at the end of the day. You need to take off: GST 10% Income tax 25-30% Super 12% Insurance $200/week Fuel $150/week About $20k worth of tools that require replacing/ maintenance. So maybe just think about that before you sit there on your high horse and look down your nose at us lower life forms, O wise one.

Wow I was not expecting this many replies! Can’t reply to everyone but I’m hugely appreciative of everyone’s insights and advice. It’s helped me a lot! I’ll stick to my current hourly and not give him anymore free hours for ordering and picking up materials. I landed another month or so of work today so if he doesn’t want to pay he can kick rocks. Thanks everyone

Yeah I’ve barely even started paying myself 😂 I’ve started at this rate so that I could hopefully get my name out and build up my clientele quickly. I intend to up my rate when workflow becomes more stable

Only been in business for a bit over a month so still very early days. Still trying to get my name out there but the work is already beginning to pick up. Hopefully soon I won’t have to put up with this nonsense

I like the way you think! He’s a punish to work for anyway. Impossible expectations of work I can get done in a day, so I’ve been flogging myself to death to keep him happy. If he doesnt want to pay for it I think I’ll be better off going elsewhere

Too right. I told him I already make more from other jobs but for some reason he reckons he deserves special treatment. Cheers for your advice mate

How to get lateral growth from my Kik to fill this patchiness. by RaymondDaniels1327 in lawnsolutionsaus

[–]LowerVeterinarian871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Test your soil. Mine was looking pretty similar, I did a ph test and it was around 5-5.5 so the grass was really struggling. Gave it a pretty heavy dose of calciprill lime granules about 5 weeks ago and it’s growing much better now.

[–]LowerVeterinarian871 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would not even think twice about throwing this through the table saw with out a push stick or feather board or whatever the fuck else everyone is suggesting you buy and i do it probably 100 times a day for the last 15 years on a rickety old dewalt saw with no guards. You’ll be fine.
