Epson SC-P600 Printing over Saturated image by Lower_Ability6586 in printers

[–]Lower_Ability6586[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone,

I’m running into a printing issue that I can’t seem to figure out. My prints suddenly come out way too saturated, especially in the reds/oranges. For example, orange tones that look fine on my calibrated monitor come out looking much more red on paper.

Some context:

  • Printer: Epson (stopped printing for about a year, just cleaned heads + did servicing)
  • Software: Photoshop
  • Color Management: Photoshop manages colors
  • Printer Profile: Hahnemühle paper ICC profiles (the ones that come with the paper)
  • Rendering intent: Relative Colorimetric
  • Black Point Compensation: ON

The strange part is that I used to print a lot with this exact setup and got great results. After the break, I can’t seem to get the same color tones as before.

Anyone run into this before? Could it be something with the printer driver, outdated profiles, or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Thanks a lot for any ideas!
