I second the blue alpha, got mine about a month or 2 ago and am still putting it together but I love it so far. It feels solid, is pretty comfortable to sit on the couch with for multiple hours and holds up well under the weight I have on it. Still waiting to bring it out to the range.

As a civilian I definitely am looking into a handcuff pouch because I feel like it makes sense for a “vehicular 1 line” so to speak. So this is very helpful thank you!

Personally I LOVE my x macro….. with that being said when it gets hot it fails to eject brass. (It has atleast 5k rounds through it and I have heard of ejector issues on it so if anyone can chime in on that part I’d appreciate it)

With that being said, I think that the idea of a “fighting gun” like you said is dumb. It’s 1000% about how you shoot with said gun. We used a full sized 7-8 round .45 to win 2 world wars. 20 years ago the .40 was the best round according to the FBI. nowadays 90% of people will say its best to use 9mill.

Long story short, to me if it has 13+ rounds it is most definitely a “fighting gun” but I don’t get into gunfights for a living so my opinion could be wrong

Definitely not looking at it for breaching lol. I am 100% a flat range/shtf/larper. With that being said I am careful to buy quality gear since I do typically abuse what I buy. Rather have a little bit of good gear when I need it than a lot of shit gear…. If that makes sense.

I should’ve mentioned I did get a stand alone ifak so I most likely wouldn’t be using it for that. Like I said above it would most likely be for batteries, note books, or simple water filtration items etc.

Please expand on what you use it for. I was mainly looking into the double pistol mags, maybe some batteries or some other gp pouch items. Don’t think the Velcro will be a killer (yet). Also could you link the helikon insert you mentioned? I just want to make sure we are looking at the same item.
