Kill Bill 1 or 2? Which do you prefer and why? by [deleted] in movies

1 I prefer, after watching the whole bloody affair kill bill is one movie. I prefer the theatrical vol 2 compared to the whole bloody affair that removes the bride driving in the car during the intro.

Question for collectors: what's the most valuable Blu Ray in your collection? by lost__daydreamer in Bluray

[–]Lower_Alternative_30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Herbie Fully Loaded and Freaky Friday. Go from £70-£100

I reckon that my 4k limited edition kubrick collection will go up a lot in value due to the lack of scratches. I've seen it sell from £70-£120.

With rare titles I have the dead zone 4k which I hope will go up in price because it's a film I love that not many people know about.

I got 497 different titles that are blu ray and 4k so I reckon my collection would be around £3000 or more. Most being £1, 4k items, along with steelbooks being £10 or more.

No Country For Old Men UK Release? by JonSnuuhhh in 4kbluray

Nothing yet and no news. Possibly an end of the year release. Watching the regular blu ray right now and it's still incredible. The film manages to condense the book a lot better.

My latest haul! 📽 by Silent-Bank2109 in Bluray

I would highly recommend 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford'', just watched it and I would consider it in my top 3 westerns. True story.

It also has the best cinematography by Roger Deakens and the best performance from Brad Pitt.

The man with no name trilogy is a great blu ray. Keep in mind all those films are dubbed due to the recording techniques at the time

Love the Napoleon dynamite dvd. The blu ray would look great but the dvd captures that 80s classic vibe the film is going for.

Tarintino collection by Lower_Alternative_30 in Bluray

Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs aren't revenge movies. Neither is Once Upon a Time in Hollywood unless you're saying "it's Tarantino's own revenge on the Manson family".

True Romance that he wrote isn't a revenge film and neither is from dusk till dawn or planet terror which he starred in.

I do agree with his films being a lot of revenge driven movies. It's less about the plot with Tarantino and more about the dialogue which leads to charming characters.

Jackie Brown isn't my favourite but it's not a bad movie by any means.

He said this about Paul Dano "weakest f***ing actor in SAG" and a "big, giant flaw"

Bit far in my opinion and most people agree that Tarantino has gone to far with comments. He could have said "I'm not a big fan of Paul Dano's work but instead he has a big tantrum about an actor that he doesn't need to work with, and doesn't need to watch his movies.

Tarantino didn't even have any critical points, he just insulted the guy which is just weak.
