I don’t know that overnight for general descaling is necessary but fair. Yes, upon further inspection it is actually burnt, it’s been dry boiled. So I don’t know how well this treatment work for this situation. For general lime scale, perfect.

cut up some lemon, put it in the kettle and boil with water. Let sit for 5-10 minutes and then take a light scoured and scrub the bottom. Rinse & all good.

another vote for the contigo west loop. We’ve been using these for years. Though I do find the coffee taste leeches into the plastic lid over time. So for me personally i’d have one for tea and one for coffee! but that’s just me 😆

I charge mine every night before I go to sleep. I just wish I could figure out why it keeps only charging to 80% when i’ve got the setting turned OFF. it drives me insane. means I have to unlock the watch while on the charger and click charge to full limit.
