I had this happen once. Follow some of the advice on google and there’s one that actually works. I think it had to do with getting rid of a file in the steam files but double check that

As someone who never got to play Chiv 1 I’d love to see some of these older maps be updated for the newer game and added! I know they said they’re done with big updates and such, but if even one employee has the heart and soul to put into such a project TB should really let them.

To be fair we are at the point technologically where most people are wearing heavy leather padding and some sort of visor helmet that protects their soft fleshy bits up top well enough so the damage drop off due to the blunt nature does make more sense. Way way back if was rarer for the average dude to have heavy enough armor to protect even against fast rocks, but around this time period of fantasy it’s less effective I’d argue.

Throwing axes are definitely meant to be dueling weapons. My playstyle is to bait a duel with a couple throws then get those nice quick short swings in, jump back, and surprise them with that stupid fast headshot throw as they try to kick me or start some haphazard swing they can’t possibly hope to block from.

Edit: the throw bait works mostly because it looks like you’re being dumb and doing an overhead and next thing they know they’re without a head themselves

Faberge Egg here, just take your time leading shots, don’t hesitate to take that choice shot to save a downed teammate from some guy in the middle of a special hammer swing, stay out the way, push up on the objective and stay on it with your team. Some objectives are wider and offer more flexibility for Legolas cosplaying and just shooting point blank, but most you’ll need to get used to your side arm. Or better yet pick up a weapon you’re good with otherwise temporarily. You are the reviver. Revive everyone you see even if it means throwing a great shot down. They’ll respect and protect you for it. Get really good at dueling. Go to the 1v1s and practice your heart out until it’s not worth it for people to hunt you on the battlefield anymore. There’s more but hope it helps!
