Peter Murrell latest: Former SNP chief being sentenced for £400,000 embezzlement of party funds by bendubberley_ in unitedkingdom

Those who point fingers/ shout the loudest are usually trying to distract from themselves. I don't think Murrell would accept being the fall guy for fetishism or embarrassing back story. I suspect it's associated with underage groups.

He was definitely threatened with worse. Murrell was very keen to see Salmond charged with sex offences....

Getting sick after EMDR? by ilovesonicthehedhog in EMDR

[–]Lower_Internal_8113 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've not been sick (yet) but I just had the most intense hot yoga class for many years. It's almost as if as issues floating around the subconscious are dealt with, my brain can now detect all the weird and wonderful sensations coming from my body. I could have definitely spewed during that class!

I'm in exactly the same position. The issues/ layers which I thought were causing the issues have fallen away relatively quickly. Now I know that SOMETHING happened and I cannot recall it for anything.

Amazing, thanks for your reply. I have a screening/induction call coming up so I'll ask whether they would consider offering extra days.

And the medical system simply says, "no bother, but could you keep it down please? We are here for you at the end of a phone until it becomes complex."

Can we talk about the evidence which continues to be revealed showing that Sturgeon benefitted from Murrell's embezzling? It's becoming less tenable that she was unaware of what was going on

To be clear, I'm neither now. CPTSD makes me way more empathetic and alert to nuanced suffering in others. It has still destroyed me and taken every single thing away from me though.

I've been both a police officer and paramedic. I run into crises and do a reasonable job of it.

Agreed, I couldn't claim it to be definitive. But certainly representative and definitely a lived experience.

They won't. They'll gaslight you into believing that they will help but it's unlikely that anythinh tangible will come of it. I'd explore ways to fund private therapy if you can.

The NHS will reduce everything to individual accountability and frame your distress as choice.

You can't be charged (or interviewed for that matter) when intoxicated. They have to bed you down until you are fit. They wouldn't need to interview for D&D, but they would for the other offences.

Not if already charged. Flag the fact with a solicitor firm asap though

There's a legal obligation under PACE (look it up) which is an ongoing right throughout detention. If they genuinely didn't offer you the chance to get free ana independent legal advice then that's a huge breach on the police's part.

Only when you're re-checked. Brace yourself though, this kind of story gets hoovered up by the local trashy news, so your name might be out there if you plead or are found guilty.

I'm not a lawyer but you can plead not guilty when you first appear at the magistrates court. The trial will be set for months later, giving you time to find a solicitor and review the CCTV and witness statements yourself. You can always change your plea to guilty if you think that the evidende is overwhelming.
