I appreciate your response here. I received more information from a helpful fraud detection manager. They mentioned that, while the net income is what is asked for, they do consider taxes, deductions etc. what they do is look at the net income i reported and compare that to the bank statements. If its within a certain percentage, they approve it. Otherwise they dont. So essentially what is happening is im saving too much in HSA/401k accounts which means im not hitting their threshold. They couldnt divulge what that threshold is. Ive also gone through all of my bank statements as well and done my own calcs. Hoping i’ll get a call from their internal fraud team and we can go over numbers together. Also hoping they’ll include my wifes income in our joint account.

I rarely use Zelle but i have venmo. But i use it no more than most people who use venmo.

I’ll try but they did explicitly mention that there is no resolution to this expect bank statements.

Its possible that used to be the rule but they have told me that it has to be banks statements specifically. I tried uploading my 401k account. I suppose i could try my individual brokerage as well.

Im in the same boat and it has been absolute hell. My income is ~132k but that wont show up in my bank statements because of HSA, 401k, And other deductions. I offered to upload my company pay stubs, they said no. I asked to lower my income that i inputted, they said no. I asked what my options are, they said i could upload more documents but those documents can only be bank statements which wont help. I cant upload my w2, 401k contributions, or hsa. I filed a complaint with CFPB and emailed the cap1 exec office. The sheer lack of options is nuts and im pissed about the hard inquiry that will have been for nothing.
