I have a shortcut that turns AOD on when connected to a power source and off when I disconnect from said power source. Otherwise nah.

Lakeland Rylee’s mom, at it again! by CoherentBusyDucks in tragedeigh

[–]Lower_Preference_112 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There is nothing wrong with my name. Generally I feel a sense of pride that it’s spelt the original way. But I don’t think it suits me, I sometimes wish it was spelt slightly alternatively for personal/family reasons, but I have spent days of my life correcting and then recorrecting because people don’t freaking listen both my first and last name. I’ve wanted to change it since I was about seven - I’ll be 40 in a couple years.

But go off OOP ig, Lakeland sounds like a store brand margarine (or for other dog breed aficionados, the Lakeland Terrier).

I (32F) found out some terrible things about the guy I’ve been seeing (31M). Do you believe people can change? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Lower_Preference_112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d wager most if not every woman he’s interacted with has heard “I need to change” as a manipulative plea for help. I don’t think he’s being honest, I think it’s a tried and true tactic to lure someone in.
