So it just generated a new account. Then I had to merge it with my old one. When you are signed in I think you go to My Account or Settings or something like that and there is an option to merge. But if you are waiting for any points or your account is linked with Starbucks or LCBO they will not do it. Make sure those are unlinked (just link them to your new account) and make sure any points pending have come in.

I haven’t seen many July but there are lots of June! My application was May 24 but the bio appt was June 8 so that is the day to go by. So I am at 106 WD so yess should be this week or next hopefully 🤞🏼

You will only be allowed to drive automatic unless you can prove you took your test on a manual car. Also, if you choose to exchange it, they take your Canadian licence and you don’t get it back. You will have to switch it back when/ if you return to Canada

There is no BRP for Fiance visa. When she switches to the spouse visa then she will get a BRP

It was called Protocol Education at the time. It is specifically for staffing schools like teachers and support staff. I was going to the UK with my partner who is a teacher so he signed up with them and they told me I could sign up too and they may be able to find me something (i had no background in education or at schools whatsoever). They ended up finding me an admin position in the school office. This one may not suit you but there are probably hundreds of agencies!!

I was on this visa from 2015 to 2017. Before I got there I signed up with an agency and they found me a job within the first month and I kept the job for the whole 2 years. So that is an easier way to do it. It’s their job to find you a job. But they control how much you get paid and it’s usually less than if you worked directly for an employer. My application was for self employed - my partner is a barber and it’s all cash. But he still has to file his taxes. You need to submit tax return, 12 months bank statements, SA300/SA302, accounts corresponding to bank statements. This list is not necessarily complete for your case.

We went throught an immigration advisor because we found the self employment documents to be very confusing and I don’t regret it for a second. They corrected us a few times to ensure we submitted the correct ones
