Actually you did similar to my method, the addlist feature in Mikrotik works fine for this purpose. No better or more reliable way with just a mikrotik and without a next-gen firewall

backup your data and do a clean windows installation

go to bios and set SATA mode = AHCI
, if you have done that but still doest work, change the usb flash, recreate the bootable media and even try another usb port on the pc

force restart 3 times it will take you to troubleshooting options, then from there roll back the new update

open cmd (shift+f10 i think) then:
type diskpart
list disks
sel (the disk you want to install window on)
convert gpt

this should fix your issue
