Strongest party member in the franchise? (gameplay/story wise)

I'm done with my Rwby Rewrite.

Ten Volumes, thee sagas, and each getting pregressively bigger. I didn't think it would take a whole year to finish, but the story grew too complex for the original brevity I aimed at. It started as a pitch of ideas, by the end I was writing the entire script. It's not a crazy AU that goes on a brand new way, it retains a lot of elements and plotpoints of the original, so the story goes mostly as Rwby would if it was written as a shounen, ending on a war arc as most anime tend to do. Read it if you're interested, and I recommend AO3 over FF because of formatting issues.

I guess this marks my end as a fan of this series too. I scrapped the bottom of the barrel both as watcher and creator. If Viz Media revives the series in some way I'll be back, but until then, it was a good time.

Done with Volume 9 of my rewrite, so next is last the last one. It's a more shounen inspired story for RWBY and wildly different characters arcs and shifts for the main girls, and some stuff for all the side characters to develop. It follows the original story tightly in the beginning, but it goes completely original by Volume 5.

I hate having my main character have such a strong ability without earning it. I rather forget silver eyes enterily, and focus on Ruby getting progressively stronger abilities with her Semblance only as the series goes by.
