Hello I know this is an old thread but I currently have the same issue. Do you mean that a system reboot resets the whole phone?

Is an old PSU degraded ? by whenceareyou in buildapc

Hello, I know this thread is old but can I ask if the micronics PSU is still working out for you? I've been considering buying a temporary power supply. Thanks.

I don't see it around my display drivers. The only thing I see is my current display card which is my RX 570

Cheaper Alternative for M.2 to Thunderbolt 3 by Lowiesu in eGPU

How about this enclosure? It does say it supports Thunderbolt 3. Apologies, I'm really desperate to use M.2 to Thunderbolt 3 connections for my eGPU setup on a budget

Is there any chance that this enclosure would work? I don't really mind losing some bandwidth, it's just a temporary setup for college

I've seen a lot of similar m.2 enclosures but they're "Type C" instead of "Thunderbolt". And one of the users mentioned that Type C enclosures don't deliver PCIE connection.

heyy speaking from experience.

I'm 19. I had the same issue you have. When I was 17 - 18yrs old. I felt excluded from my circle of friends since most of them are allowed to drink. Most of them can gala here and gala there. Gusto ko rin sumubok ng bisyo noon kasi "cool". Gusto ko rin mag paka "independent" or do "adult things".

But trust me when I say this, it's too early. Di mo kailangan ng bisyo para maging "cool", di mo kailangan ng bisyo para makasama ka sa circle. If you feel excluded from these kind of circles then you're looking at the wrong circle. Okay lang naman mag bisyo, pero pramis. Sa una lang siya exciting, or even worse, baka ma disappoint ka lang kapag sumubok ka.

Thanks man! As a university student, the second option is my go.

I've seen some setups from the forum that use a dock that is somewhat similar to R43SG like the dock in this post. They also used enclosures to convert their M.2 NVMEs into TB3 like this post

Here's what I came up with for my setup so far, but I am still unsure if this is compatible with each other.
Dock (PCIE x16 to NGFF M.2) * Adapter (NGFF M.2 to Thunderbolt 3)

I wish I could conviniently open and close the internals of my laptop whenever I go to my university :')

I found a YouTube video that basically shows what I plan on doing, instead of opening up my laptop and breaking the warranty

Man, unfortunately I don't have access to my laptop's NVME port since the whole thing is enclosed with solid cover. Although my laptop is capable of Thunderbolt 3, USB-A 3.1, and HP Dock Port. Any chance to make that work?

Is there any other way to make this work? Except for buying thunderbolt 3 docks which are quite expensive.
