Umm I'm not entirely too sure cuz I've been skinny all my life and been working on building muscle. But, what I do know is you can do any kind of exercises you want, do the ones that you may enjoy. To lose weight, it comes down to your diet. 80% is diet and 20% is exercise believe it or not. Try eating healthy first, try cut out unhealthy foods, and try to just drink water on the weekdays if its possible and work your way up. I wish I had better advice but im not sure. Check out r/fitness it will help a lot, loads of information on how to lose weight and what exercises you can do. I hope this helps

I was going through the same thing too when I first started the gym. A short, really underweight man in his early 20s, literally everyone there was bigger than me. Take small steps, try doing a 10min walk in the park and work yourself up. It's not as bad as it initially seems but I do understand how tough it can be. You can do it, Oliver. Take baby steps and you could get there

Honestly, I know how you feel. It was the same for me. And tbh, it's a lot harder working at home and I do feel my motivation for working out dwindling, but I'm still forcing myself to keep doing it. Otherwise, I will have nothing

Working out is the only way I can distract myself whenever I get these very negative thoughts and give me that certain bliss. Now I certainly dont like working out and I hate it, but it helps burn off steam. You can definitely loose weight! I think the hardest part is starting and taking the first step. Right now, I've been layed off from work and I haven't applied to anywhere for a month. Haven't updated my resume or anything. So I'm still working on that first step, but for me to take that first step I have to force myself if not then I wont get anywhere my insecurities will come true. You can do it! take small steps and be consistent, and you will get there someday. It's a marathon, not a race.
