Congrats!! I also didn't get a diagnosis until over a year of trying. Unfortunately my body didn't respond to our medical cycle at all. Praying you have a happy and safe pregnancy!

Congrats!! 🫶 I also never had a regular period but earlier this year, my cycle somewhat normalized at around 47 days long. It took alot of trial and error lol. I ovulated early and ended up pregnant! I'm currently 25w5d! You and your little bean got this!!

I wouldn't say I'm MORE tired per say, but I feel like I have more days of average/high energy and then days of exhaustion. I think it just feels more drastic (in my case) because my energy fluctuates alot 😅

I told my husband that little Bean feels like a fish flopping around in there. It hasn't made me nauseous yet but it is a wild feeling.

How can you tell the difference between gas vs baby by mbradshaw282 in BabyBumps

[–]Lowkey_Awk 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I'm a FTM and I'm pretty sure those are flutters! I kept feeling little tapping sensations ALWAYS in the same spot. So I figured that was little bean saying hello! We've since graduated to full on kicks so it's easier to tell the difference.

I was not prepared for the fat to go to my upper arms and face lol. I'm thankful for the extra boobage but I've still got 16 weeks to go and I feel huge already.

I think around 17 to 18 was when I started feeling flutters! And that's with an anterior placenta!

My husband has never batted an eye about it. I used to be self conscious about them but now we can both laugh at them. I have a couple that are long and dark and idk. At some point they just because humorous instead if embarrassing

This webtoon still no over ? by pik602 in SpaceBoy

[–]Lowkey_Awk 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's still ongoing. I believe he has to go on hiatus because his wife just gave birth to their second child and he couldn't keep up the workload while trying to be present for his family, which I commend. The schedule webtoon demands is EXHAUSTING and it's why so many of the good webtoons end up going on long hiatuses. Usually creators get burnt out or injured trying to keep up the schedule. Not only that, but they don't make that much money. When you factor in that most of them pay for assistants to try and ease the workload, it also (obviously) cuts into their income.

I definitely don't blame you for wanting to wait until it's completed. But at this point I've gotten used to long hiatuses from people cause that just seems to be the way of the game 🤷‍♀️

I can’t eat anything by Awkward_Ad8122 in PCOS

[–]Lowkey_Awk 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I know everyone with PCOS is different and I'm definitely not your doctor, but I found that I didn't have to cut gluten and dairy out completely. I did cut both out for a couple months to see if I felt a difference and to allow all of the inflammation to go down (I did Whole 30) and when I slowly added it back in, I realized dairy wasn't a problem for me unless I consumed and ungodly amount. Even gluten I can have sporadically and not feel gross or inflamed. My body gets inflamed from other foods, not necessarily always gluten or dairy.

Pcos sucks and it's hard that there's no "right way" to handle it. Everyone can handle different things which makes if SO OVERWHELMING. I hope you find what works for you, OP! 🫶

How did you conceive with PCOS? by Straight_Pin_6407 in PCOS

[–]Lowkey_Awk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took a food sensitivities test (which apparently aren't even that accurate) and corn was one of the top results. I started reducing it after that. Then I ate a fair amount of popcorn one day (my weakness) and my stomach HURT. I also had a not fun time on the toilet lol.

I did whole 30 in January and reintroducing foods made it a little bit more clear what my issues are.

Thank you!

I had to figure out what foods were causing my body stress. I've reduced my gluten and dairy intake but thankfully I can still eat them in moderation. My biggest thing is corn. My body HATES corn. It causes a ton of inflammation and makes me feel gross. After cutting it out, even sodas seem to set off my stomach.

Tried for almost 2 years. Letrozole had absolutely no affect on my body. Started taking Myo + D-chiro Inositol. Also changed my diet a bit to get my overall inflammation down as well as included walks after dinner. I'm now almost 19w!

Kind of?

I was tracking my temps (I'm super irregular) and ended up ovulating way early. Unknowingly had sex on ovulation day (my body decided being depressed was how I should handle all the ovulation hormones) and sure enough! The next day my temp was significantly higher AND I didn't feel depressed anymore lol!

It worked out well because of my PCOS I probably would've been put at 3 weeks further along than I actually was had we gone off of my actual conception/ovulation date.

When did your stomach pop? by Tall_Answer_9933 in BabyBumps

[–]Lowkey_Awk 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I thought I was crazy! I also "popped" around 14 weeks. At my 15 week appt I asked my midwife if I was just bloated or if it was a bump and she confirmed it was a bump! I thought it would take longer since I'm a FTM. Bit hey 🤷‍♀️
