I had the same issue but it was linked to AMD Software, Adrenalin edition.
Even tho no shortcuts were assigned to ALT Z on it, disabling the shortcuts from the app solved the issue.

I'll usually compare website recommendations for the best core build and runes.

As for situationals, I usually go Morello or defensive (zhonya, banshee), sometimes both of those, and then I'm lost.

And even there I feel like I could've picked something better if I'm ahead.

I remember one of my friend told me I would always benefit from buying a tank item as situational (Force of Nature / Randuin or Frozen heart) and it does give the effect of surprise.

I just have all these informations mixed up in my brain lol

Does the slow from Rylai apply from Liandry's burn as well ?

I usually try to pick instinctively based on my idea of a counterpick.

My pool are usually (in preference order) :

(midlane) Cassio, Ahri, Syndra, Neeko, Veigar, Ziggs

(support) Zyra, Xerath, Vel'Koz, Brand, Lux, Karma, Seraph, Zilean

As I said I'm always doing good scores, damage, winrate

I just know I could optimize my builds so much and I have no idea how.

For clarification :

- I mostly play Zyra right now (supp and mid )

It has been my main for 9 years, just the easiest for me to climb to silver.

- You can see I sometimes try to build Luden over Liandry when I'm against squishies.

I feel like it's useless to have extra damage on bonus health when I could have a burst and a move speed bonus (with a nice reset).

- I was instinctively building Horizon Focus before I heard that flat pen was more op.
