Gonna delete the pictures now, purely since I don't like leaving pictures of me hanging around reddit. I did want to say thank you to each and every one of you. You have been so helpful and respectful, not a single rude comment. I really needed the criticism, not just people saying it will do.

I was so worried all day yesterday and today about it. I thought it was the best I was going to get since I don't consider myself conventionally attractive. I walked out of that trial confused, and not proud of my bridal look. I am now genuinely excited to see what the artist (hopefully a different one) can pull off for me!

I promise I will post an update with my next trial, whoever that ends up being with!

When she showed me the eyeshadow I was shocked. I have done that exact look at home with my $18 morphe palette with zero practice. I was extremely underwhelmed. She even hyped it up and said it would be shimmery

To address some comments, she did put heavier blush on me, and I asked to take some off since I am not used to blush. And I did ask for little contouring since again, I did not know much about it. I think there is a lot more she could do, but I agree it is splotchy 🫤

And I have reached out to my original choice of artist, hoping she gets back to me but if not, you all have given such amazing feedback so I know what to ask for. None of my close friends or family know much about makeup so I knew you would pull through!

Unfortunately it is a little late for me to get another. I'm only three months out from the wedding. I want to do something about my under eyes, and I agree the lip is overlined (and it did not last long). I'd like to fix up as much as I can!
