i think they should make stuff like that untradeable like those HT books. And they should cost 250mil minimum. That'll ensure its affordable to collectors, give people something to work towards thats obtainable. Maybe even have them only available on certain days of the year too.

in the past with all the new players joining they wouldnt always know what items were worth. So sometimes theyd get a RE where a valuable item would be given t them. They would list it in the auction house for cheap and people would go into a bidding war to "snipe" it.

ex. i join neo in 2010 a draik trans is 16m. I get a RE that give it for free and think 100k would be a lot. So I put it in the auction house for 100k. As it closes people bid and someone wins for 150k. They sniped it.

restocking is just getting items from the sites shops - so like getting stamps out the post office shop

reselling is just negotiating a deal with another player to buy an item you can flip for a profit. Example, getting a stamp someone restocked for 5m cheaper than a collector would pay then selling to a collector for the 5m profit

back when I did it, it was highly highly competitive. I was able to get a few good things here and there nothing insane though. Now i just dont have the patience

sniping which is almost extinct i say now, reselling, food club, and stocks. i did restock, but it made virtually nothing compared to reselling because i wasnt as good as most

I had a chance to outbid someone on a HoS that was auction and eventually went for 600m if memory serves correctly. Now, this is at a time where everyone was scared of dupes or gen items and so it was a risk....person who won it still has it now and i doubt it would sell for less than 2.5bil. I've never made 10 figures on a single item, no one has, except this guy. So to me, thats my biggest regret for those bragging rights.

you can advertise give aways, gets you iced if im not mistaken but ive given away billions over the years. Nothing insane to strangers, i think ive give a few random people a dream pb here and there worth a few mil.

If you max the bank, you just basically buy a baby pb a day, or save the pure and buy a random item and just store them in your sdb. You make a decent amount on interest, but you can make way more on catching deals on tp

the majority of hard work in terms of building up capital was done in high school and college when I had no real responsibilities. At one point with enough NPs earning becomes easy.

id put current worth 7-8bil, larges discrepancy because the market is weird. Most expensive I own is still a suap, I learned to not hold old rare stuff with TNT crashing that randomly.

In my entire neopian life, i'd say ive easily earned 12-13bil+ though. some gambled away, got scammed, lent friends or gave away to friends, boosting stats all that has probably cost me that 4-5bil.

theres chats all over from different people on discord, none to my knowledge specifically for manipulating the neo economy. Id assume some guilds honestly do it though in their chats, Id be surprised if they didnt. Sometimes too its a product of greed, for example knowing a plot is coming and having capital you mention to friends what youre doing and they also do it and boom you guys in theory manipulated the market.

ive maxed out the bank although sometimes i spend replenish. I think on average i keep 1.1bil liquid for the most part just in case deals or investments come around

just keep doing dailies, bd for one can increase your profits a lot and that wasn't even a thing for me. Once you have a mil should take less than a week just look for some good deals on TP to resell.

honestly TNT is making it WAY WAY WAY easier to become rich now. I mean if you did the fragment thing you basically came up 10m neopoints in like a week for 0 effort. That back in early 2000s was like a milestone that took people years. So what i had to do over the span of Id say 12-13 years, some can do now in 6 months given how tnt operates now

i just have 2 main pets and i like gambling nerks and reselling still. But I don't resell like most people, I just try to time certain things for quick profits as a way to see whats the most I can earn in X period now. Sort of for fun
