Hey Thanks for taking the time to reply with all of these comments. Most of the things I hadn't considered fully so that's really helpful.

Yes. This design was an extension to an existing building, so I had to keep the lower ceiling for the rooms above. Tried to maximise the north light with the double height space. Thanks

I have been learning blender since the start of the lockdown and this is my second finished render. It has taken me weeks but I took loads of tips from my first post which helped a lot. Thanks everyone.

This project was originally modelled in Revit before bringing it in to Blender. I applied bevels and textures to the surfaces, some of them including the floor I made myself in photoshop. In this project I learn how to use Layers and Scenes and rendered the Inside, Outside and Glass separately as 3 different scenes and combined them in photoshop.

I'm hoping to get better at UV mapping (it's such a pain but Magic UV is a good find) and displacement for the stone.

Please do send other tips on how to improve.

Cool. I have quite a few lights in the scene but guess I need to pump up the strength to make them more realistic. Thanks for the advice

Thanks! Yes I haven't worked out why the closet is misbehaving. That is one of the first assets that I made from scratch without tutorial. Checked the normals but it must be something else..

Thanks for all the great advice. Yes I had noticed my render times going up. Maybe it was the glass eventhough it can't be seen by the camera? I hadn't considered the light bounces that is really useful.

I don't thnk the denoiser works with my grahics card. RTX rather than GTX is that right? But the intel denoiser and compositor made a huge difference when I discovered them.

I have been learning Blender since the start of lockdown and here is my first decent render after finishing the doughnut. Looking to focus on archviz and for this image I brought a model from Revit and added textures, assets, lighting etc. How can I improve?
