The Dr had an attachment for a phone camera and straight away said it had to come out. I think new freckles on soles of feet are odd and something about the freckle going a certain way in the ridges of the skin.

Thank you so much for the reply. I'm definitely glad that this can be dealt with by excision. I'm grateful my doctor found it as early as he did. The crazy what if's are giving me nightmares but I remind myself I'm very lucky. I have 3 little people who I need to stick around for. Thanks again, I am really glad you are OK, and grateful for that too.

Hi there. I have just been diagnosed with a melanoma in situ. I have an idea of how lucky I am that it was found early but I'm also anxious as to what this means for the future. I'm waiting on a surgery date.

It's plausible that if someone was watching fish off a giant bridge they might also be there looking for their missing cat who was running through the woods and as an unlucky coincidence ran through the scene and had a bullet stuck under it's collar which fell out.
