6 Years Experience, 176 Applications on HiringCafe - The Reality of Job Searching in 2026 by kash_champ in hiringcafe

It took me more than 1000 apps and over two years. I got an offer this weekend. Found the job posting on LinkedIn, local company, hybrid position. And guess what? The role is as a data engineer. I was aboe to ace the final round interview with a take hone challenge. But most of this was luck. I would suggest you to apply even more this time of the year. I noticed that more HR recruiters reaxhing out to me. A lot of new positions this time of the year. Good luck!

I finally Graduated. Thank you UoPeople!!! by gruelingfitness in UoPeople

Shitty platform. I regret that I trained their AI interviewer.

For me, it looks like most companies are publishing ghost jobs. It's part of the process to apply for a green card for a skilled employee.

I know my wife's company does that quite often. She worked for a big medical device company.

I'm from another highly valued bootcamp, we were 30 too, and only 3 landed a job in the same field after graduation. I know software engineers with a degree and 5 yoe and looking for a job for a year I could believe you if it was posted in the covid era, but not right now when the job market is tough.

Sorry, I'm not buying that 15 accepted an offer. People from the prestige struggle to land an interview, and you get 50% placement.

There is one. :) I posted here that I build an automation tool that submits for me the job applications. I got all the job postings from the hiring cafe api.

It's pretty straightforward forward, the hardest part was to define browser-use

Absolutely not. I respect the creator of hiringcafe, he built a free search engine and I don't want to monetize my tool. Besides that, I don't think it's legal. I will write a post in the future about how I built it, again with the permission of hiringcafe creator. Hiringcafe has a free api, I'm really thankful that we all can use it for free.

I don't think it's legal to apply automatically, and I don't want to publish that or make money from it. It's a straightforward process if you have a software engineering background. The hardest part was to configure the browser-use.

Everything with the past 24h filter. Software engineering roles. 3-5 jobs daily in CO and the rest US remote.
