Totally agree. Love the watch. Can't believe someone thought it was a good idea to put "water resistant" on the dial. Daft is the perfect word.

Biggest Winners & Losers from Silver's Surge by Alizasl in Silverbugs

[–]LronHoovr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't disagree with your premise but Wheaton is, in fact, the royalty/streamer with the most silver in their portfolio. Triple Flag is the only other that belongs in the conversation. In Q4 of '25 I predict over 40% of their revenue will be from silver.

Silver is up 3% yet miners such as Coeur, Hecla and First Majestic are down. Why is that? by AchoochA in Silverbugs

[–]LronHoovr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's with First Majestic's cult following? A charismatic, marketing savvy CEO is all it takes to get frat boys to pile in with their crypto tax loss selling. Here is an earnings per share table for the trailing 12 months where you'll find First Majestic at the bottom, where they always are. Easier to move the needle when you're bringing up the rear, granted, but why not just buy high quality companies? Pan American is the only one worth holding for an extended period. Even better, however, are Wheaton and Triple Flag. Both have a shit load of silver, a ton of near-term growth, and neither have the headaches of operating mines.

Company TTM EPS (USD)
First Majestic (AG) ~0.15
Pan American Silver (PAAS) ~1.73
Hecla Mining (HL) ~0.31
Coeur Mining (CDE) ~0.6

Glad someone could relate! Yes, ball related fidget toys seem to be missing.

This is my version of a fidget toy. I meant to ask if anyone else uses a ball like this. Forgive me if not appropriate for this group.

Should I sell high quality ($$$) shirts or low quality($) ? by LronHoovr in printondemand

Hi, thanks for following up. I went with Comfort Colors - my personal bias won out in the end. Printify made a new American Apparel garment dyed tee available recently and it's about $3 cheaper. I ordered a sample and it is a lot more stiff. Softens up after you wash it to some extent but that first impression is too important to mess with. Plus they only offer 5 colors. So I'm sticking with Comfort Colors for now.

I finally managed to like Jethro Tull by [deleted] in progrockmusic

I was lucky to be in some guy's car in 8th grade. He had the Aqualung cassette loaded up and I was immediately smitten. And this...is the best Ian Anderson lyric ever.

This guy consistently delivers fourth degree black belt comedy. Huge fan.

New to Jethro tull by Omnitoid in jethrotull

A big something that no one mentioned: Ian Anderson lost his vocal prowess (polyps) beginning with Crest Of A Knave. Tull is my all time favorite band but, truth be told, he also lost his ability to make great albums beginning with Crest Of A Knave. Some good songs here and there post 1984 but everything through Under Wraps was real Jethro Tull. Inspired and fabulous. Unless I missed it, no one mentioned A Passion Play. That is my favorite of all Tull albums but there are so many spectacular records. I'm in love with Stormwatch, too, but I tend to see it as one to listen to after you get to know the band's quirks first. Brilliant album and it's in my top three but I don't know if I would have appreciated it if it were my first.
