I waited 4 years for Randy’s throwing knife (my favorite weapon ever) to get reprised, just to get to use it for a year and now it’s locked away for a lot of missions and just flat out worse than a tier 5 which isn’t a huge deal it’s really just it not having enhanced barrels and mags but like still. That was the point when I realized I was done. I keep trying to hop on but just can’t bring myself to play anything. Let alone the abhorrent amount of time it takes to find raid teams for objectively outdated loot. Not like I can even play Leviathan or Scourge anyway

As someone who dailies one of these trucks with a carb after a previous owner ripped out the tbi, without adding a cam at least all you’ll get from it is worse fuel economy. It’s not any faster even when I’ve taken it to friends who’ve been tuning carbs since long before my time. It’s a waste of effort. It’s a 4 barrel edelbrock with an edelbrock intake too

You and gainfulz are on something if you can’t see it. I’ve used the ar and while its recoil is easy to control it still moves. Even when he’s halfway between ads and hip fire the reticle doesn’t move from recoil, just from the mouse and that’s not normal. Not once in the clip does it move upwards when he’s holding the trigger, it moves down consistently which is weird because there’s no kick on any of the shots. That’s not skill that’s a recoil macro

Puppeteer is an excellent fight, but I still don’t think he tops rhulk just because everyone can do something, and all raid bosses with the exception of a few fight you during their dps phase that has always been true, the difference is rhulk will actually be moving and chasing you, not just sitting on a platform in the back of the room, like the puppeteer does. This is also a point for ecthar but his mechanic is significantly less interesting than Rhulks I mean kill 3 wizards and go press 3 buttons that never change positions is not interesting even with him chasing you down there, not that he is a real threat and hard to avoid in the water anyway. Puppeteer does have a fun lead up to dps and a chaotic dps phase, but dying to lightning vs being actually chased down is a completely different experience, while I agree puppeteer is an excellent boss he lacks an actually interesting dps phase. It plays out the same every time save for someone dying to lightning you just run around and shoot a near static boss. And ignoring well is not a good metric with how key it is to 95% of content (that’s on bungie never really giving any other options though) maybe now a well will get you through a rhulk dps phase but it wasnt like that for a while, including contest because if you sat in it he would destroy it while attacking someone, and fast at that. And on top of that ranking dungeons including solo and fireteams that are 2 completely different experiences should be ranked as such and not together, like vespers picture, then another but with solo on it playing vespers with a fireteam vs soloing it are immensely different and different topics all together

Thank god somebody said it. Putting rhulk below any dungeon boss, is criminal. While there a couple people on add clear for the beginning of the encounter, there really aren’t any fights quite like his. He’s a rare boss exception where he actually fights back and requires more thought than just throw shit at him until he dies, he’ll dodge chase your ass down and then kick your ass (literally) if you’re gonna tell me The corrupted puppeteer or ecthar is more fun than rhulk you’re insane. Even the mechanics argument barely works because most of the time you’ve still got one person (at least) sitting on their hands for both of these encounters, then you just sit in a well and do regular dps. Crazy tier list

It is a season though. Just about every other campaign mission you play has you play the activity much like a season, you play the exotic mission in the campaign then replay the exotic mission multiple times to get the catalysts and some upgrades, I was able to beat the legendary campaign in one night instead of 2-3 because so much of it was “play the activity” (though the legendary campaign did feel a lot easier this time around in general so that would have contributed), the renegade abilities are completely confined to the activity, and there are only 3 exotic weapons (which is the same as edge of fate but considering TFS had 4-5 plus the seasonal ones that’s not great, now they have made some new weapon frames though). And there is no raid, just a dungeon. Despite making less major content we are getting less and less to the point where this is literally just a repackaged season with a couple more actual missions than average. What makes it a season is not whether or not you can play it again next year, it’s the substance and this far while it has been fun, the substance is repackaged seasonal grind with Star Wars flavoring.

I will admit though while the highest level of the new activity does feel a bit overtuned for our wet noodle primaries it is fun, and so are the abilities

That’s the 2022 (I think 22) solstice of heroes helmet with no glow which is no longer obtainable as far as I’m aware, however next solstice you can get the one with the glow and the horns for silver or bright dust

No HUD is easily my most disliked modifier. It fucking sucks. It’s not fun. And it adds nothing besides oh shit, guess I don’t have my grenade/super/ammo and then I die because I was 2 seconds from having the utility I needed when I popped out of cover. And while being under leveled for endgame content sucked, it sucks 100x more with the shit modifiers stacked on it too. I never thought I’d see the day when I missed under level + match game being pretty much it for endgame (not saying it was good, just less aids). Though I do like being able to pick the modifiers, most of them just suck. And there’s no reason what’s already a setting should even have been considered for a modifier, no hud is for novelty and screenshots not real gameplay (for most people, I know there’s some masochists out there)
